Monday Tax is a family-owned and operated accounting firm proudly rooted in Phoenix, Arizona. Our legacy spans three generations of tax expertise, dedication, and personalized service. Founded in 1962 by Gene C. Monday, the firm began its journey when Gene and his family relocated from Milwaukee to Phoenix. With a vision of providing exceptional tax services, Gene laid the foundation for what has become a trusted name in accounting.
Our Family Legacy
Gene was soon joined by his son, Paul Mehle, who brought new energy and expertise to the family business. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Arizona State University and obtaining his CPA license in the late 1970s, Paul contributed significantly to the firm’s growth and reputation.
The tradition continued with Paul’s son, Nicholas Mehle, who decided to follow in his father and grandfather’s footsteps. Nicholas earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Grand Canyon University before graduating Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Master’s degree in Taxation. In 2022, he proudly received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, bringing fresh perspectives and advanced knowledge to the firm.
In 2024, Nicholas’s wife, Kelsey, joined the family firm, enriching our team with her 15 years of accounting experience. With her expertise, we proudly expanded our services to include full-service bookkeeping, further enhancing our comprehensive financial solutions for our clients.
